Kwale Sugar is the largest project I (J.L) was involved at: it is a 6,500 Ha Sugar estate located at the southern cost of Kenya, and planned to grow much larger together with out-growers supply.
Each cluster is approximately 150 Ha served by one main-line and Fertilizer injection unit. There are 2 – 4 clusters served by a single bulk pump-house and filtration unit.
Average block size is 7 Ha served by single valve with 1 mm/hour application rate comes to 70 m3/hour. All valves are Radio commanded.
