Most of the places names in East Africa was made by nomad tribes such as Massai ans Samburu from the simple reason that being nomads they had to needed naming places to describe their qualities to each other. OlOitoktok is one of them. it is placed on the foot of the Kilimanjaro mountain to its North.
The project we did there with KRC included 2 solar boreholes, a water tower, and, like all other KRC projects, a number of 1/2 acre plots that were handed to local community members.
